The Bunker features over 10 visually appealing climbing walls that accommodate all skill levels and confidence intervals. Our commitment to exceptional customer service and a supportive environment ensures that all students benefit significantly from their experience.

Indoor climbing at The Bunker is facilitated by a safety-first approach, Our walls are no more than 4.3 meters off the ground so there’s no complicated ropes or harnesses we have nice thick soft matting.

Exclusive Climbing Sessions at The Bunker

Booking your session at The Bunker grants you exclusive access to our climbing arena, ensuring a private and focused experience for your students.

Our standard school sessions span 1 hour and accommodate up to 25 climbers. Each session begins with a quick briefing, followed by climbing.

Tailored SEND Climbing

Our SEND-specific sessions are designed to accommodate smaller groups for a more supportive experience. These 1-hour sessions include a briefing and harnessing on the arena floor and start on the hour, providing a more intimate setting for participants.

Freedom to Explore with Guided Support

Students have the liberty to choose their climbing paths, exploring different walls at their pace. This format is ideal for beginners, helping them build confidence and skill under the guidance and encouragement of our expert instructors.

Team Building through the Mountain Challenge

For groups interested in a team-building component, The Bunker offers various challenges, including the thrilling Mountain Challenge. Participants can measure their climbing achievements against the heights of iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Ben Nevis, making for an exhilarating and motivational experience. This challenge can be customized to align with current classroom topics, such as geography themes like the Amazon.

Pricing for Exclusive Sessions

Our pricing is structured to offer value while maintaining exclusivity:

  • Class Climbing: £9.00 per person, with a minimum of 10 climbers.
  • SEND Climbing: £12 per person, with a minimum of 5 climbers. (Send sessions have additional Instructors)

Climbing Courses at The Bunker

Our climbing courses are designed as a six-week half-term programme but can be tailored to fit your school’s schedule. We offer flexible course content that can be customised to meet the specific needs of your students and the educational goals of your school. We provide two main course frameworks, each adaptable to the unique requirements of your students.

Option 1 – Discovery Course
Ideal for Key Stage 1, Year 3 and 4 students, and SEND groups.

The Discovery Course is designed to foster confidence and enjoyment in climbing. It enhances physical confidence and contributes to personal and interpersonal skills development. The course structure is highly adaptable, allowing customisation to suit the abilities and objectives of your climbers. For older students, such as Years 5 and 6, we offer consultations to determine if the Discovery Course or Boulder Tops is more appropriate for your group.

Option 2 – Boulder Tops
Best suited for secondary school students and, depending on your needs, Years 5 and 6.

Our custom-designed progressive training course will take the students from complete novices to expert boulderers, or your more experienced climbers to a whole other level.

Costs for 6-week courses

  • Class Groups: £50 per person (or £8.50 per person per session for courses of different lengths), with a minimum requirement of 5 climbers.
  • SEND Groups: £75 per person (or £11.50 per session for courses of different lengths), with a minimum requirement of 5 climbers. (Send sessions will have additional Instructors)
